Adapting Cleaning Services for Events and Weather

We all check the weather tomorrow to decide what to do and how to organise ourselves, right?

Is the same here at Whangamata Coastal Cleaning, but besides the weather, our search history is also filled with upcoming events in town—because preparation is key to guaranteeing quality to our service.


Our Beach Hop Experience

Before, during and after the bustling Beach Hop event, we adjusted our attention to focus on key areas that need extra attention.

Before, we kept in touch with our customers and community to be able to organise the schedule, this allowed us to organise the team to attend the more we could. During the event, we work with the team with cancellations and last-minute bookings and inform the clients about any issues and points of attention. And after, we work on the invoicing and client feedback and put together the best practices, as the ones following.





Adjusting for the Weather

If we have rainy and/or windy days, it is more likely for the properties to have extra dust inside. Events on the beach are usually connected to more sand and drinking.


Tweaking for Different Events

Some events lead to more drinking and special meals, which means bathrooms and kitchens get more use, especially with large groups. We pay extra attention to those areas, like fridge handles, toilets, bathroom sinks, and shower drains.

Big events out of town mean that many Whangamata locals will be away from town, which is a great opportunity for a deep clean, getting the house and oven ready for easter.



Yes, that's right, we are already preparing for Easter time! While the kids are still on vacation, families use this time to travel around or to receive relatives in their homes to celebrate the holiday, and we are here to help to get everything tidy before and after those moments.
